love these shoes |

I ordered these boots in brown and black last year (Fall 2010) from a department store. They are my favorite shoes, so comfortable, warm in winter, and, in my opinion, very stylish with my jeans. I work in a kindergarten and I'm on my feet most of the day. The black pair gets more use than the brown, so I hunted these down on-line (directly from Bernardo) and ordered my second pair of black to see me through another year. I hope they keep this style for a while longer, in case I need to replace any more!

I tried to get a hold of a customer service person yesterday regarding my order which was supposed to be shipped this A.M. I was put on hold for 45 minutes, hung up and tried again. This time for 10 minutes when the line went dead. I was trying to get the size changed before the shoes were shipped, but gave up in exasperation. Now I will have to send them back or take them to a store ( an hours drive) . Either way, a pretty unsatisfactory experience. Improve your customer service please! Just for the record, I'd ordered a size 9, my usual size, when I happened to see a review which said to order down a size. Pretty annoying to be unable to get a live person to talk to--not to mention the awful background music! Obviously I don't have the shoes yet, so cannot rate them.

The boots came right away and were pretty true to size, however my foot is very narrow and the boot was not. I liked the boot very very much, but when I wore them today, they rubbed my feet because of the width.

I've been wanting a pair of these desert boots for 2 years but I could not decide on a color. I saw that they were available at a very good price and opted for the distressed black pair. These are SO comfortable, that I'll be buying another pair!
